Looks like I'll be able to make it for my first NEKF event. Had a question about the river, I took a ride over there from work the other day and the water looked pretty low. How deep is the river in that section and would one be able to run a bass boat in the area?

Bass boat? You need a kayak to participate in these events.The main channel is plenty deep enough for any boat.

i have about eight little square snap lid buckets a friend gave me and they are handy lil things if anyones interested ...FREE, they have a hinged snap lid and a handle,i will bring em. gave one to sully60 last time i saw him. I am going... rain or shine. Theres a pike i hugged in that river that owes me a phone number...
