Well said Lefty...I have also fished all of the Shootouts and the fun and memories get better and better every year...thanks to the organizers and congrats to everyone who landed fish!!

What a great event it was! Thanks everybody who was involved to make this fantastic event happen.

Lotta lapshots on this thread, a few more won't hurt. Props to everyone who made this happen--I know some of the guys running this didn't even get to fish! I knew I was going to have to remember which fish was which, so I marked them as I caught them. Two fish stole my nekf stickers, so if you catch one with a nekf sticker on it, that was me. Proof that I can catch in the day time and for those who know, a spot burn...my first 40" fish of the tourney  Some of the pigs I really did catch them in size order too:     Of course the one I really wanted isn't in the pics. The biggest fish tore me up and took my hogy.  The Faun is an unforgiving place, I have hooked a few real pigs there in very very shallow water (my 2 biggest fish were on the half ounce head on a 13" hogy) and they always run you through the weeds and rocks, some win, most don't.

We had an absolute blast at the shootout, our first year and we won't miss it again. Great pictures everyone! Thanks to all NEKF organizers for an awesome time. It was nice seeing everyone again.

I went out a couple nights before the tourney and picked up a 46" fish, maybe it was the same one!!  Yakshots of a couple of the bigs a fat one:  She's drooling a hogy!!

Slappy, is the rumor true that those "tags" cover the fishes names? I did hear that you've named them after repeat catchings.

Once again a big BRAVO to all the behind the scenes and in front of the scenes men,women and sponsers who helped make this an incredible kayak fishing tournament.This tournament preparation started months ago and I would like to thank all for their valuable TIME and effort, to make this come off without a hitch, well done! Also, a thank you to all my fishing brothers and sisters for such great fishing fun.
