Hello everybody, This is my second year doing the shootout, and I wanted to ask if you could put me on the waiting list if a tent spot opens up at winter island. (I may have a co-pilot looking for a spot as well.) I'm very flexible about the spot and amount of space.

I'll put you on the waiting list. That will make you #3. So far there are no drop outs and I am not really expecting any. It's getting closer to event time and you might want to start checking for other options for you and whoever else.

Keepback500 - There are three folks on the waiting list and judging by our list of regulars already in sights, I really hope someone takes you up on that offer. I don't figure three sites are going to drop out in the next couple weeks.

Trying to plan for this week and since this is my first time: What time can we check in on Friday at the campground? Friday is always a non-working day for me so I'd rather get there on the earlier side. TIA!

I believe check out is 11:00 and check in is 12:00. If the site is already empty they might let you set up earlier. Call and ask for sure though .... (978)745-9430
