Figured I'd start a thread with some fish pics. I fished with my friends, Empty Stringer, his wife Full Stringer, and Sandypoint Mayor. We kept our radios "on" and fished together. We hit a bunch of places and fished our butts off. We only slept 5 or 6 hours all weekend. Beth (Full Stringer) was our high hook all weekend! She placed second in the open division with a 43" fattie! Mayor tied for third with a nice 42"! We worked hard for the fish we caught, and had a blast doing it. Beth actually dropped one at the side of her yak that was bigger than her 43". I couldn't pop a 40" but managed a few mid 30"s. Great weekend! Thanks to everyone!

fished hard friday night and sat. day but lived up to my name fish-fever because by sat. night I had a fever of 102.8 and had to call it quits. Marco got a nice 42" and I got a skinny 39" Marco also got a nice 36" but never took a picture because I had already got the 39 he wasn't thinking about the tie breaker so he lost out on third bummer.

First I just wanted to say thank you to the NEKF Board of Directors, members, and sponsors that pitched in and made the shootout so much fun. It was a great time and as usual great to see everyone! I was able to find some good fish this weekend - my three biggest fish were 41.5", 40.25", and 35" - not enough to make it into the top three though! Congrats to all the winners - some real nice fish! shootout 41.5 (270 x 360).jpg.jpg

Some nice fish and pics guys! I wasn't able to fish the tourney, but I was able to sneak out yesterday for a little bit and ran into a coulpe members and got into some fish including an 11 pound blue that I had to keep because it had a Butchie Built tube all the way down it's throat!

Here's my girl. Not the best picture, but its the best I have Caffrey can vouch for this catch as I really had my hands full matching my PB. Thanks for everyone involved with putting together this most awesome tourney. I can hardly wait to do it again. As always good to see new and "old" faces adding more great fishing memories. See you on the water. John

I and the other members of the Wolfpack, thank everyone from NEKF for hosting a fantastic tournament this year. It's always great to get together, and see old friends again. We had a great time! Tight lines,

Fished with the Canadian guys Dragon Wrasse and Fishduck on Sunday. They did much better than I did. Fishduck even placed with his 42 inch fish.
