That's not a good thing. Might want to notify N.H. Fish and Game about that.

I did some googling. Apparently they've been known to escape from a very exclusive game preserve.... I will send a heads up to F&G though, thanks.

A friend here at work has harvested 3 escapees over the years, all in the 130 to 150 pound class. He is an avid hunter and involved in many areas of conservation and the preservation of our game and hunting. He was telling me what an impact these boar can have on an area. A pair can have up to 11 in a litter and 4 litters per year. At that rate it doesn’t take long for just one pair to begin having an adverse effect on an area like many states have. Here is a bit about the Game Park up on the mountain above here. http://www.meyette.us/CorbinPark.htm

Old news, started back in the 30's when a hurricane (1938, I believe) took down some of the fence in the park and some got out (Rumars people keep opening the fence over the years) and they mixed and became a feral pig (Same as down south). I looked into this about 10 years ago and even spoke w/ F&G, no season and no set way to kill um. CO told me to kill them all, when I said I would like to take a couple!! Mostly that western area around park and I have heard them being behinf Waleback ski area off 89 too. They root the crap out of fields causing much damage and the CO indicated landowners were willing to grand permission to interest hunters. Just not something I was willing to put alot of effort into. Read up and go kill some (Shoot the small one's they taste better ). Will
