i know try before you buy is there a place i can rent one of each to try them out it's a lot of coin to shell out without knowing for sure.i saw the vidio on car topping the pro angler and that was a major concern but it did'nt look that bad after watch that vidio i know i was just watching.with the added pounds is it that much harder to peddle?is it a dryer ride i would think so.it's also a lot wider so i would think it harder to get in and out of than the revo but i don't know just some of the questions i have.you guy's are the pro's i have a pungo 140 and love it but i always wanted the hobie and had to sedal last time i bought because i was buying 2 one for me and my son well now it's my turn to go get what i want so i want to make sure i get it right this time.i'm 53 years old 5'8" tall 230 lbs.most of my time is spend in small freshwater ponds but have been expanding to joppa flatts and also the connecticut river in northfield ma.so peddel power would be nice with the current. please help.

I have a Revo and a PA, also a very nice fishing lake. If you wanted to make the trip up and get a one day license we could get in some good fishing time with you using both boats.
I would be available to do that this coming Sunday and Monday. I'm 6'1" and 245. They both fit me nicely. You have to try and decide yourself.

Roger,
You're such a tease Two Hobies and a lake, I should have only one and I'll find a lake.

I'll get a good lat & long off my GPS for you this afternoon and post it. For now, this is off Google Earth 43º 30' 48.44" N X 72º 06' 57.88" W. Mark and I will probably be on the lake by 7 but can come back to the launch anytime to meet you.
Anyone else want to join in?

I have some questions. After almost 10 years after buying my Wilderness Systems Manteo, I finally rigged it to fish. Unfortunately, my body is not as thin and flexable as it used to be and I found myself wanting a more stable and fishing friendly boat. I also found a need to move my legs a whole lot more. I am wondering, can you sit sideways on these. Do the rails prevent this? There is a nearby dealer that demo's Hobie's but wanted someone's opinion first.

brig42, haven't tried sitting side saddle. There's certainly enough stability for it.

That's a really early start for you Bob. If you want to wait and meet at 8 that's fine but if you're OK with the early start, we will be there. Come to the ramp and I will get you pointed to the free public parking area. Bring your favorite LMB & SMB gear and we will see if we can get them to cooperate for us. The Lat and Long posted above are good.
